The yummiest and easiest teriyaki sauce you’ll ever set your eyes (or tastebuds) upon!

Vegan Teriyaki Sauce – Easy and Delicious
Goes perfectly with this teriyaki cauliflower!
Prep Time: 2 mins – Cook Time: 7 mins – Yield: ~ 1 cup of sauce
Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
– 2 tbsp water
– 1/2 cup soy sauce
– 1/2 cup maple syrup
– 1/2 cup water
– 2 tsbp rice vinegar
– 1 dash of sesame oil
– 3 cloves of garlic; finely minced/grated
– 1/2″ nub of ginger; finely minced/grated
Instructions:
- Mix the cornstarch and 2 tbsp of water together and set aside.
- In a small sauce pan on medium heat, add the ginger, garlic, water, vinegar, soy sauce, maple syrup and sesame oil. Stir and bring to a boil.
- Once the sauce has come to a boil, add the cornstarch and water mixture and stir.
- Let boil for 2-3 minutes, or until it starts to thicken, and then remove from the heat and let sit for 5-10 mins (it should thicken some more while its cooling).
- Once slightly cooled, your sauce it ready to use!
