Out of all the ways to eat and cook cauliflower, roasted cauliflower steaks are by far the best!
As a cauliflower lover, these steaks are my new favorite go-to dinner (especially when I’m trying to eat healthier and get more veggies in)! My favorite way to eat these is with some acorn squash and a LAKE of this easy basil pesto), it is truly such a delicious and simple meal that never ceases to impress! Works so perfectly with the bright and acidic pesto since cauliflower has a very mild flavor.
This cauliflower steak recipe is:
– the perfect main or side dish to share
– super simple to make (only a TINY bit of chopping and shove it in the oven)
– and customizable to your flavor profile of choice!

Easy and Delicious Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
An easy and fresh main or side to share that always impresses!
Prep Time: 4 mins – Cook Time: 30 mins – Yield: 3-4 cauliflower steaks
Ingredients:
– 1 head of cauliflower
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp ground black pepper
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp paprika
– pesto to top
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°.
- Cut your head of cauliflower into slices about 1” thick. Place cauliflower on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle cauliflower (and any other veg you would like to roast with it, I roasted some acorn squash) with olive oil. Rub in the oil with your fingers.
- To a small bowl, add all of your spices. Mix.
- Use your fingers to generously sprinkle and rub in the spices onto the cauliflower steaks on both sides.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the steaks are golden brown (varies on the thickness of your slices, but mine took about 30 mins).
- In the meantime, make this vegan pesto to serve with the steaks!
