Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Date Balls

Simple, three ingredient, power-packed snack for all my sweet toothed people out there!

Date balls have been taking over the vegan, raw, and healthy food scene over the last few years. But, I had never thought to try making them before. Until now, that is! I tried making them for the first time with this super simple recipe and WOW they turned out absolutely delicious!

These protein date balls are:

– super easy to make

– require only three ingredients

– taste incredible

– and are perfectly bite sized for on-the-go!


Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Date Balls

The ultimate go-to snack that packs a sweet and protein filled punch!

Prep Time: 10 minutes – Yield: 7 date balls (about 1″ diameter)

Ingredients:

– 3 tbsp chocolate protein powder

– 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter

– 15 dates (I used medjool)

Instructions:

  1. Remove the pits/seeds from the dates and place them in a food processor.
  2. Blend the dates on high until they form into a thick paste.
  3. Place paste, protein powder, and peanut butter into a medium bowl and combine (with your hands) until they’re thoroughly combined.
  4. Separate your dough into 5-7 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  5. If you’d like, you can roll the balls in shredded coconut, but that is optional.
  6. Enjoy!
